function writeDoubleLocal(Address, Value) : Boolean

Writes a double precision (64-bit) floating point value to the specified address in Cheat Engine's own process memory (not the target process). Returns true on success.

Function Parameters

Parameter Type Description
Address Integer or CEAddressString The address in Cheat Engine's memory to write to.
Value Number The double precision floating point value to write.

Returns

Boolean — true if the write was successful, false otherwise.

Examples

-- Write a double to address 0x123456 in CE's memory
local success = writeDoubleLocal(0x123456, 3.1415926535)
