function createSynEdit(owner, mode OPTIONAL) : SynEdit

Creates a SynEdit code editor.

Mode 0 enables Lua syntax highlighting; mode 1 enables Auto Assembler syntax highlighting.

Function Parameters

Parameter Type Description
owner WinControl The parent/owner of the editor.
mode Integer Optional highlighting mode: 0 = Lua, 1 = Auto Assembler.

Returns

SynEdit — The newly created editor.

Examples

local form = createForm()
local editor = createSynEdit(form, 0)
editor.Lines.Text = "print('Hello from Lua')"
