Cheat tables are XML configuration files used by Cheat Engine. Their file extension is .CT.

A cheat table can contain:

  • A list of addresses, either manually added or pointer-based (which automatically updates when the base address changes).
  • Auto Assembler scripts that can be easily enabled or disabled by clicking the corresponding checkbox in the main window.

Adding Addresses

There are two ways to add addresses to your cheat table:

  • Automatically – Double-click an address in your scan list.
  • Manually – Fill in the address and type yourself. Use the Add Address Manually button located above your cheat table in Cheat Engine's main window.

Saving and Loading Cheat Tables

  • Save: Click the Save your current data (Floppy Disk) icon in the top-left toolbar, use the menu File → Save / Save As..., or press Ctrl + S / Ctrl + Alt + S.
  • Load: Click the Open a cheat table (Folder) icon in the top-left toolbar, use the menu File → Load, or press Ctrl + O.
