You can pause the process you are cheating on, by clicking on the 'Advanced options' box from the main window and then clicking on the pause icon. This requires the debugger to be attached to the process (you will be prompted for this if you aren't already attached).
You can assign a hotkey to this feature in the settings (see the settings section in this help document for how to do this). This process can help dramatically when memory scanning, as the target game won't be eating into your CPU-cycles while paused. This process happens automatically if you have checked the box to 'Pause game during scan' from the main interface.
